Hi, I’m Liz, your “lifesaver” when it comes to getting your Senior from point A to B—safe, sound, and stress-free.

After 30 years of working as a bedside nurse, I decided to retire from hospital settings, started volunteering at Travelers Aid at Newark Airport, and became a Certified Travel Companion for seniors. I love this work so much I decided to start my very own air travel companion business.

While maintaining my New Jersey nursing license and CPR certifications, I now get to use my years of travel experience and passion for caring for others to provide safe, personalized air travel assistance—including offering a portable wheelchair when needed—to help seniors navigate airports and reach their destinations safely.

HOW BOOKING WORKS

1. Initial Discussion

Start by filling out the contact form on this website or reaching out via email to discuss your loved one’s travel needs. Once I have the basics, we can schedule a quick phone call if further clarification is needed, ensuring all details are clear from the beginning.

3. Proposal & Negotiation

I’ll send you a detailed proposal outlining the services I’ll provide and associated costs. If anything needs to be adjusted, we can discuss and negotiate the details to ensure everything meets your expectations.

2. Trip Research & Planning

After our discussion, I’ll briefly research the trip, looking into flight details, airport logistics, and any necessary accommodations to help me prepare a customized plan for your loved one’s journey.

4. Deposit & Itinerary

Once the deposit is received, I’ll finalize all the trip details and send you a full itinerary. This will include everything from check-in procedures to boarding and deplaning, so you know exactly what to expect.

5. Full Payment

Before the trip, the remaining balance will be required. After that, I’ll be ready to provide your loved one with a seamless, stress-free travel experience.

  • With my nursing background and CPR certification, I am experienced in handling emergencies calmly and quickly. I will alert flight attendants immediately and assist in coordinating necessary medical help upon landing if required.

  • It’s best to reach out as early as possible to ensure availability, especially during busy travel seasons. I recommend booking as early as possible before the intended travel date to allow enough time for planning and coordination.

  • Yes, I can assist with international travel. However, additional planning may be required, especially when it comes to navigating customs, securing necessary documents, or coordinating with foreign airports. We will discuss any unique considerations during the initial consultation.

  • A deposit is required to confirm the booking with the remaining balance due before the trip. The full itinerary will be provided once the deposit is received.

    If you have airline miles, we can work together to coordinate the details of purchasing the flights.

  • I closely monitor the flight status and will adjust plans as needed. If there are delays or cancellations, I’ll work with the airline to rebook the flight and ensure your loved one remains comfortable and informed throughout any changes.

  • Absolutely! If you prefer to accompany your loved one but would still like assistance navigating the airport or managing logistics, I can provide support for both of you during the trip.

  • Yes, if your loved one is traveling with a pet, I can coordinate with the airline to ensure their pet is properly accommodated and comfortable during the flight.
